A Ramadan community iftar created to help Muslim families connect, build new relationships, and create a welcoming and safe environment for their children.
Ramadan Iftar 2026 brought Muslim families together at Mississauga Valley Community Centre for an evening of food, conversation, and community connection under the theme “لتعارفوا”. The event was designed to give families a welcoming space to meet one another, build new relationships, and strengthen community bonds. Guests shared iftar together, took part in conversations and short community talks, and spent time getting to know other families in a relaxed Ramadan atmosphere. The gathering also created an opportunity for children and youth to connect in a familiar and supportive environment, helping families build relationships that can continue beyond the event.
